II. 56On the head of one man I remarked an unusually large fur cap..of a shape extending far behind the head...This was for the purpose of..enabling the wearer..to approach the animal within reach of his arrow. It is called a be-creeping cap (Bekruip-muts); and is only worn when in pursuit of game.
1868 J. Chapman Trav. II. 110What we call stalking the Boers have a much more correct term for — be-kruiping, or be-creeping.
