In historical contexts. Initial letters of Detainees’ Parents Support Committee, an organization helping parents whose children have been detained as result of their political activities.
Note:
This committee was formed in 1981. Its activities included monitoring the numbers of people detained, helping parents to locate their children, and providing legal assistance to secure their release from prison.
