1976 Family Radio & TV 21 Nov. 6It’s farewell to Durban’s last cafe-bio, closing because the building’s to be demolished. Strange, I’ve always thought cafe-bios were demolished by the public as one sat there.

1987 S.B. Fine in Star 24 Oct. (Weekend) 4On Saturdays..we would hurry down to..the cafe-bio. With ‘Continuous Performances’, it did not matter if we arrived late. ‘Tea-coffee-cooldrink-icecream’ the waitress would intone.
