1963 M. Horrell Action, Reaction 4A section of the Coloured people..established an Anti-C.A.C. movement, which later changed its name to the Non-European Unity Movement.
1989 Reader’s Digest Illust. Hist. of S. Afr. 396The formation of the Coloured Advisory Council (CAC) by the Smuts government in 1943 brought this split [in the ‘coloured’ community] clearly into the open, with the almost immediate formation of an Anti-CAC (later Anti-CAD) organisation.
